Time 2 Sleep

Sleep Awareness Workshop

Friday 17th May 2013

Halton Lea Library, Runcorn, Meeting Room 3.

Sleep Solutions have developed this workshop to raise awareness, skills and understanding around sleep difficulties specifically related to disabled children and young people, or those with additional support needs.

The workshop runs in school hours with registration 9- 9.30 am, ending at 2.30 pm. It is open to both parents and practitioners to maximise the benefits from working and learning in partnership.

The materials used are written and delivered by a qualified sleep practitioner including the following subject areas:

• Effects on the Whole Family

• Why is Your Child Not Sleeping?

• Keeping a Sleep Diary

• The Bedroom Environment

• A Good Bedtime Routine

• Night Awakenings

• Useful Resources

LIMITED PLACES ONLY

FREE OF CHARGE

To parents and practitioners of children with additional needs in Halton.

Goodbye and Good Luck

After 34 years of service to the School, Pauline McDonald has decided to leave Cavendish to spend more time with her family. Pauline has worked here since the school opened and she has supported and cared for many children over the years. We are sure you will join us in wishing her well for the future.

We will be having a whole school assembly on Thursday 28th March at 2pm to say goodbye and good luck! Parents and friends of Cavendish are welcome to join us!!!

BIG-HEARTED Runcorn students have raised a phenomenal £1,444 for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
